Talks by Dr. Paul R. Fleischman in NYC, February 18th and 20th, 2017

In his 5th annual visit to New York City, Dr. Paul R. Fleischman, author, psychiatrist, and Vipassana meditation teacher in the tradition of S.N. Goenka, will be giving two public talks: one at NYU Kimmel Center’s Grand Hall on Saturday, February 18th, and another Monday the 20th at Barnard College’s James Room. Links to register are below.

At both venues, Dr. Fleischman will discuss meditation as a source of grounding stability and peace, and as a catalyst for facing life’s challenges and participating in their solutions. Dr. Fleischman will describe his own practice of Vipassana meditation, its basis in the Buddha’s teaching, and its relevance to day-to-day living. How can meditation help us to live fully today, keep our vibrant hope glowing in a world so full of disappointment, divisiveness and aggression?
